The Ogden & Waddington Legacy
Waddington was carved from the wilderness by the Ogden family, notably David A. Ogden, whose vision transformed the riverbanks into a thriving hub of commerce. Named after Joshua Waddington, a prominent New York merchant and financier, the town quickly became a beacon of North Country prosperity.

The site of the family's first manor and a center for agricultural excellence.
CHARTERED 1839
The village was formally incorporated, solidifying its place in New York history.
